Quilts!

Iv'e been making a lot of quilts lately and I love it! Rob's mom is a really good seamstress and great at quilting. After I had Lexi, she taught me how to sew and I loved it from the start. I've made almost 5 now (working on one) and have lots more lined up!

Here is my first one and it was for me! I designed it myself and it's has my 3 favorite colors.

Here is the second one I did for my cousin Yvonne's baby shower. She had a boy and the colors were grey, white and yellow.

I laced decorative thread through the quilting by hand. It took forever but it makes it look more like 'Argyle' so it was worth it!

For the backing I used a grey and white hounds tooth that went great!

This one was for another cousin. Jen also had a boy. She didn't have a shower because it was her 3rd boy so I just had fun with this one and did a bunch of colors!

I also took a hand quilting class right before I did this one so I hand quilted his name on it.

The back is plain but the quilting looks cool on it.

This one took forever but it turned out so good! I did it for yet another cousin. Dana had a girl. I tried to match her crib bedding.

In some of the squares I hand quilted designs from her bedding.

And just cause she is cute I had to put one up of my little Brooklyn! She crawled onto the blanket while I was trying to take pictures of it! 

Dad's 60th Birthday!

We went to CA two weeks ago for my dad's 60th surprise birthday party! It was so much fun! My sister Katie put it all together and she did an awesome job! The food was amazing, the Polynesian band was great and I saw family that I haven't seen in a long time! I loved it and I am so glad we were able to go!

I'm going to be making some pretty random post. mostly to get photos oh here that i don't want to lose. Plus i thought it would be fun to take a look back on things! So this one is not too far back. We took Fuge family pics in January of this year and they turned out super cute!

Pretty Purple Princess

I got Lexi a little crown from JoAnns today and she loved it! I knew she was wearing purple today so I got one to match and than she just had to have a wrap to go with it! I love this girl!

Starting to Blog!

Well I am horrible at blogging but now that we dropped the whole Facebook thing I thought I would try to blog again. Sorry in advanced for I am not very good at writing in general but i will try my best!

Quick update:
Lexi is now 2 1/2 and we have another little girl named Brooklyn who is 8 months now! Rob has about a year or so left at ASU and I am still lucky enough to be a stay at home mom!

I plan to mostly put pictures on here because my girls are way more fun too look at than anything i could have to write. So here they are!!!

 we went to the Aloha Festival a few weeks ago and got these cute flower clips for the girls hair!

Then this last week we went to Disneyland!!! Rob had to work but his family came too!

 Well this one is before Disneyland at my sister Katie's house. Her little girls are so cute! This is Jane or 'Jane Jane'. Her and Lexi played so good together this time and for 2 two year olds that is amazing!!
